The Cummins QSX15 Tier 3 is a 15-liter inline six-cylinder heavy-duty diesel engine with a rated power of 375–665 horsepower and a maximum torque of 2542 N·m. It is equipped with an XPI ultra-high pressure common rail fuel system and VGT variable geometry turbocharger. It can meet Tier 3 / Stage IIIA / China III emission standards through advanced in-cylinder combustion technology alone, without the need for exhaust aftertreatment devices such as DPF and SCR. It has a simple structure, low maintenance cost, and high reliability, and is widely applicable to large construction machinery, generator sets and mining equipment.
