The Cummins 5.9-liter Turbo Diesel develops peak torque at a very low 1000 rpm, ideally suited to underground driving conditions and speeds. This low-end torque provides better performance for high payloads and trailer towing along with better acceleration, throttle response and drivability. The vehicle is exclusively engineered to limit speed to 25 mph with an optional 40 mph calibration when mine speeds dictate the need.*

Every Cummins 175-hp Turbo Diesel is designed for simple, easy maintenance. A single top-load fuel filter with heater and water-in-fuel sensor has 7,500-mile (12,000 km) change intervals which match the oil and oil filter change schedule required for the tough environmental conditions of underground mines. You have the option of using either CI-4 or CH-4 engine oils at the standard intervals.
